Kerala Blasters will be locking horns with familiar foes Bengaluru FC in the 130th edition of the Durand Cup on 15th September, 3 PM at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan. The men in yellow will be looking forward to continuing the winning momentum gained from our first match against the Indian Navy and climb up the spots in Group C.

The last time both the teams met, we’ve had happy memories back in Bambolim as the southern derby ended in a 2-1 victory for us, courtesy to the goals from Puitea and Rahul K.P

The boys started their Durand Cup campaign with a 1-0 victory against the Indian Navy in a closely contested match, where Adrian Luna scored his first one for KBFC through a penalty goal. Ahead of the game against BFC, the Head coach confirmed that Abdul Hakku has suffered an injury that will keep him out of the pitch for at least 2 weeks. Sahal who had endured an injury at the national camp has now started training with the team in Kolkata.
