Autism Acceptance Month : Special Guests Attend Kerala Blasters FC Training

As part of Kerala Blasters FC’s ongoing Yellow Heart community outreach program and in honour of Autism Acceptance Month, the club had the privilege of hosting a group of special young guests at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kaloor.

A group of 20 children with autism, accompanied by 5 teachers and parents’ representatives from the Buds Rehabilitation Centre, Vadavucode – Puthencruz GP, Ernakulam, visited the Kerala Blasters’ training session to interact with the players and witness the behind-the-scenes moments of the team.

The interaction was filled with joy and warmth as the children were greeted with open arms by the entire Kerala Blasters FC squad. The interaction wasn’t just about football—it was a heartfelt exchange of energy and inspiration that left a lasting impact on everyone present.

CEO Abhik Chatterjee, Head Coach David Català, and Captain Adrian Luna personally addressed the children and expressed their deep appreciation for the spirit and resilience of both the children and their teachers in attendance. They acknowledged how moments like these serve as a powerful reminder of the unifying and uplifting power of sports.

The visit was a reflection of Kerala Blasters FC’s unwavering commitment to inclusivity, empathy, and meaningful community engagement. It was a day marked by high-fives, shared laughter, and heartfelt moments—powerfully reminding us that football is much more than just a game.
