Blasters faced the Gaurs in a thrilling encounter at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, Kochi. The visitors narrowly secured a 1-0 victory. Despite numerous chances and relentless effort from the home team, Boris Singh’s first-half strike proved the difference.

First Half: Goa Take the Lead

The match began with both teams showing high energy and intent. Kerala Blasters created early chances, with Noah Sadaoui and Adrian Luna combining well to threaten FC Goa’s goal. However, FC Goa’s defence, led by Sandesh Jhingan, remained resilient.

In the 40th minute, the game took a dramatic turn when Boris Singh capitalized on a mistake by Kerala’s goalkeeper, Sachin Suresh. Boris fired a shot from a tight angle, which deflected off Sachin’s gloves and into the net, giving FC Goa the lead. Kerala responded with urgency but couldn’t find the equalizer before halftime.

Second Half: Blasters Push for an Equaliser

Trailing 1-0, Kerala Blasters came out firing in the second half, making strategic substitutions. The introduction of Sandeep Singh, Kwame Peprah, and Korou Singh added fresh energy to the attack. Noah and Peprah formed a dynamic partnership, creating multiple scoring opportunities, but FC Goa’s goalkeeper Hrithik Tiwari stood tall to deny them.

Adrian Luna came closest to levelling the score in the 81st minute with a brilliantly executed free kick, but Hrithik produced a spectacular save to maintain Goa’s clean sheet. Despite Kerala’s sustained pressure in the dying moments of the game, including a well-set-up chance for Sandeep Singh in stoppage time, the equalizer remained elusive.

Kerala Blasters showcased immense determination and creativity but were ultimately let down by missed chances and a resolute FC Goa defence. With this loss, Kerala Blasters will look to regroup and come back stronger in their next fixture against Bengaluru FC at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore on 7th December.

Kerala Blasters Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League. Purpose:

To provide reports and data on new and current players performances and assist the club in identifying the best talents available.

Responsible for:

  • To create, collate and monitor scouting intelligence effectively, using all available resources
  • Identify potential Youth Teams, Reserve Team, and First Team transfer targets.
  • To develop a network of contacts in youth football India and Specified age range in order to maximize coverage and ensure the Club has a working knowledge of all talented young players.
  • To maintain a working knowledge of all players who have either previously been signed/registered with the Academy but have since been released or have had unsuccessful periods of training and assessment, in order to identify any potential late developers.
  • To maintain and submit accurate and detailed records of all matches attended and players scouted and monitor scouting database
  • Create and present Talent ID Videos on request
  • Deliver regular training to the Video Scouts and Consultants to ensure they are reporting correctly and understand the KBFC Style of Play.
  • Gather market intelligence to build the Scouting Database.
  • Create and present a Scouting report as requested.
  • Carry out extensive background checks on players that have been identified as potential transfer targets.
  • Research on players potential for recruitment (Stats and Video)
  • Maintain all types of Statistics of players in the I League, 2nd Division, State Leagues, Youth League, etc.
  • Research on ISL, I-League, State League, Youth Leagues to check the trends and adapt to the upcoming season.

The Blasters delivered a commanding performance at home, securing a resounding 3-0 victory over Owen Coyle’s CFC. Goals from Jesús Jiménez, Noah Sadaoui, and Rahul KP secured all three points.

First Half – Missed Opportunities:

The match began cautiously, with both teams focusing on maintaining defensive discipline. Chennaiyin attempted to assert themselves early on with quick passing and high pressing. However, the Blasters’ defensive duo of Hormipam and Milos were solid at the back, neutralising Chennaiyin’s attacking threats.

The home side gradually grew into the game, with Korou Singh and Adrián Luna pulling the strings in midfield. Despite their dominance in possession, Kerala Blasters struggled to convert chances. The closest they came was in the 34th minute when Jesús Jiménez’s powerful header hit the frame and narrowly missed the target.

Although both the teams tried to create, neither could break the deadlock in the first half, with the score remaining 0-0 at halftime.

Second Half – Blasters Take Charge:

The second half witnessed a complete transformation in Kerala Blasters’ approach. Mikael’s men emerged reinvigorated, determined to break the deadlock. Their persistence paid off in the 55th minute. Korou Singh, after a dazzling run down the flank, delivered a perfectly timed cross to Jesús Jiménez, who calmly slotted the ball past the goalkeeper to give the Blasters a 1-0 lead.

Rahul KP put the game to bed in stoppage time, finishing off a counterattack in the 91st minute with an easy tap-in, completing a perfect night for the Blasters.

First Half – A Promising Start and Early Lead:

The game began intensely as Kerala Blasters created early chances, with Sandeep Singh nearly scoring in the second minute, only for his shot to deflect off the post. The hosts kept up the pressure, and their persistence paid off in the 13th minute. Korou Singh showcased impressive footwork on the wing, beating his marker and delivering a precise pass to Jesus Jimenez, who slotted it past Jongte to give the Blasters a 1-0 lead.

Hyderabad FC responded strongly, with Alba leading their attack. In the 43rd minute, Parag Shrivas sent in a beautifully timed cross to Alba, who finished with a powerful side-footed shot to level the score at 1-1 just before halftime. Both teams went into the break with everything to play for.

In a hard-fought battle at the Mumbai Football Arena, the Blasters came up short with a 4-2 loss against the Islanders.


First Half

Mumbai City began the game on the front foot, taking an early lead at 1-0. The first half was marked by a few close calls, with both teams exchanging possession and creating chances.

Kerala Blasters struggled to break through Mumbai’s defensive line but looked dangerous in moments, especially when Jimenez got into promising positions. However, as the whistle blew for halftime, Mumbai maintained their narrow lead.


Second Half


The second half burst into life with both teams ramping up their attacking play. The pace picked up in the 55th minute when Mumbai doubled their lead through a well-taken penalty by Karelis. Shortly after, Blaster’s won a penalty of their own, with Jimenez coolly converting to make it 2-1, bringing Kerala Blasters back into contention.


In a dramatic twist, Kerala Blasters equalised at 2-2 in the 71st minute with a powerful header by Peprah. However, the forward’s celebration led to a second yellow card, reducing the Blasters to ten men. Just minutes later, Nathan Rodrigues volleyed home to make it 3-2, reclaiming the lead for Mumbai.
