Kerala Blasters FC confirms that Head Coach Mikael Stahre, along with Assistant Coaches Björn Wesström and Frederico Pereira Morais, have left their respective roles with immediate effect. The club sincerely thanks Mikael, Björn, and Frederico for their contributions throughout their time with Kerala Blasters FC. We wish them nothing but success in their future endeavors. The new head coach will be announced in due course. Till the new appointment is confirmed, KBFC’s Reserve Team Head Coach and Head of Youth Development, Tomasz Tchórz and assistant coach, TG Purushothaman will take over the responsibility of managing the First Team.

Korou Singh: Shaping the Future of Kerala Blasters FC Until 2029

Kerala Blasters FC is excited to announce that promising young forward, Korou Singh Thingujam, has extended his contract with the club until 2029. The extension marks a significant milestone in the career of the 18-year-old, who has made tremendous strides since joining the club in August 2023. Korou’s Journey to Kerala BlastersKorou Singh joined Kerala Blasters in August 2023 after a standout performance at the 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup. Initially registered for the reserve team in the Kerala Premier League, Korou quickly made an impact, scoring his debut goal on November 26, 2023, against Kerala Police. He followed it up with another goal in an 8–0 win over MK Sporting Club on December 13. His performances earned him a call-up to the senior team for the 2024 Indian Super Cup, where he debuted on January 20, 2024, becoming the youngest-ever player for the club. Korou made his ISL debut on April 6, 2024, and provided his first assist on November 7, 2024, against Hyderabad. Korou’s rise continues in the 2024-25 ISL season, with 5 appearances and 2 assists, showcasing his growing impact in the attacking third and highlighting his importance at Kerala Blasters. Kerala Blasters FC has extended the contract of 25-year-old fullback Huidrom Naocha Singh until 2028. This strategic move is an extension to the club’s commitment to building a strong core of young players for the future, ensuring continued growth and success in the seasons ahead. Naocha’s Journey with Kerala Blasters Huidrom Naocha Singh initially joined Kerala Blasters on loan in July 2023 for the 2023–24 season. Naocha quickly established himself as a standout performer. He made his debut on August 13, 2023, in the Durand Cup against Gokulam Kerala and earned his first Indian Super League (ISL) appearance on October 21, 2023, against NorthEast United FC. Impressed by his consistent performances during the loan period, the club secured Naocha on a permanent one-year deal for the 2024–25 season. During this time, he proved his worth as a reliable fullback, combining defensive stability with offensive contributions. Naocha featured in 10 ISL matches in the 2024–25 season, delivering two crucial assists. He also scored his first goal for the club in the 2024 Durand Cup, contributing to a commanding 7–0 victory against CISF Protectors. Expressing his excitement, Naocha stated: “I am grateful to have signed a contract extension with the club. It is a privilege to play for this club and its incredible fans.
