Kerala Blasters FC will face Northeast United FC today at Tilak Maidan Stadium, Goa. After narrowingly losing against Bengaluru FC, the unbeaten run of KBFC came to an end. A solitary goal by Roshan Naorem handed Bengaluru FC the winner on Matchday 76 of the Hero Indian Super League 2021-22 season at the Tilak Maidan Stadium. Men in yellow last win came on January 12, recording a 2-0 over Odisha FC before the next two games were postponed. Harmanjot Khabra wore the captain’s armband for the team in the last match. Although slightly rusty, the Yellow Tuskers are steadily obtaining their rhythm back after being locked in for two weeks.

Prabhsukhan Singh Gill:

The promising young player’s performance has been quite good in this season. He has made some crucial saves for the team. He is currently leading the golden glove chart.

Jeakson Singh:

An Unsung hero in the midfield. Throughout the 90 minutes, he along with puitea controls the midfield. From 12 matches, he scored one goal and created one assist for the team.

HEAD TO HEAD

NorthEast United FC and Kerala Blasters played out a goalless draw in their first leg of the Hero Indian Super League 2021-22 season at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. Both the sides have faced each other 15 times in the past, with Kerala Blasters having an edge, winning five matches overall, compared to NorthEast United FC’s four. However, in the last five matches, the Highlanders have won once, while the teams have shared the spoils in the remaining four games.
