Men in yellow will face Hyderabad FC on 23rd February, Wednesday at Bambolim, Goa.
A dramatic match between ATKMB and Kerala Blasters ended in a 2-2 draw at Tilak Maidan. Adrian Luna put KBFC ahead through a fascinating free-kick in the seventh minute. David William found the net for ATKMB from the pritham kotal cross. In the 64th minute, the Uruguayan magician scored a rainbow goal against ATKMB. Joni Kauko rendered it into a 2-2 scoreline at the end of the match. Diaz will miss the next match against Hyderabad FC because of the red card suspension. Ivan Vukomanovic’s men were confident throughout the matches. Blasters should be in a confident frame of mind too. If the team wins in the upcoming matches they can confirm the top 4. But still, the top 4 race is on. The combination of the foreign trio of Adrian Luna, Alvaro Vazquez and Jorge Pereyra Diaz made the team more confident and outstanding. Kerala Blasters have 27 points from 16 matches, currently standing 4th in the point table.

KEY PLAYERS IN THE LAST MATCH.

Adrian Luna
The Uruguayan midfielder kept a class and consistent performance in the last match. He scored two valuable goals for the team. His hardwork was remarkable throughout the 90 minutes. Luna Unlocked the goalscoring by a striking free-kick in the seventh minute and scored another astonishing goal in the 64th minute.

Bijoy Varghese
He made a combination with Marko Leskovic in the defensive line. He was exceptionally consecrated in his defensive role, making numerous tackles and crucial clearances. The 21 year old local boy was directly promoted from the Kerala premier league. The coach was impressed by his performances during the pre-season days.

HEAD TO HEAD
In the first leg, Kerala blasters had a win over Hyderabad FC (1-0). Alvaro Vazquez’s goal late in the first-half secured the win. Hyderabad FC are at the top of the league table with 32 points from 17 games, and a win in this game will confirm their qualification to the play-offs.
