TEAM NEWS

Here comes the most exciting match. KERALA BLASTERS FC will lock horns with ATK MOHUN BAGAN FC today in Tilak Maidan. It was exactly 3 months back when Kerala Blasters lost to ATK Mohun Bagan at Fatorda Stadium but things look entirely different now for both teams. Failing to find the 3 points in few matches resulted in Antonio López Habas stepping down as the coach for ATKMB and was replaced by Juan Ferrando whereas KBFC On other hand had a juggernaut run post the defeat against ATK Mohun Bagan last time. Ivan Vukomanovic emerged as the problem solver and guided “THE YELLOW ARMY” to a
10 match invincible run this season. This still stands out as the best performance from the club till date.

Marko Leskovic and Harmanjot Singh Khabra are back in defence after their suspension. Rahul KP is also recovering well and is likely to get few minutes under his belt. However, the performance from Bijoy Varghese, Sanjeev Stalin and Soraisam Sandeep Singh from last match will make it tough for coach Ivan to decide on the starting 11. Considering that Enes Sipovic, who came back to the starting 11 in the absence of Marko Leskovic was the goal scorer in last
match proves the squad strength Kerala Blasters possess.

HEAD TO HEAD

Overall, in the Indian super league, ATK MOHUN BAGAN FC oversee the fixture with 5 victories out of the 14 times we met. 5 games saw both teams sharing points and Kerala Blasters secured wins in remaining 4 encounters.

KEY PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT

Jorge Pereyra Diaz, Adrian luna, Alvaro Vazquez and Sahal Abdul Samad, “THE FABOULOUS FOUR” will remain as the players to watch out for.

In last match, Sanjeev Stalin and Soralsam Sandeep Singh have already shown how much trouble Kerala Blasters can cause with the ‘wing attack’.

Availability of Marko Leskovic and Harmanjot Singh Khabra makes the defence unit more lethal.

With one more clean sheet under the belt from last match, Kerala Blasters Custodian and the front runner for the Golden Glove, Prabhsukhan Singh Gill looks ready for any challenge.
