TEAM NEWS

Kerala blasters will lock horns with FC Goa on 6th March 2022 on our last league match from this season. Only being able to register 4 wins from 19 games makes this a season to forget for FC Goa. Coach Derrick Pereira will be looking forward to leaving bitter memories of this season behind with a win. And ‘THE GAURS’ will go all-out on the field for the 3 points.

On other hand, Kerala Blasters have regained their confidence with a 3-1 win over Mumbai City FC in the last match. Ivan Vukomanovic’s men will not be satisfied with anything less than a win even though the men in yellow have secured the semi-final spot with Mumbai City bowed out after a 2-1 loss against Hyderabad FC.

‘THE YELLOW ARMY’ will lose the service from Harmanjot Khabra due to a 2-match ban. However, Sanjeev Stalin, Bijoy Varghese, Enes Sipović, Sandeep Singh, Ruivah Hormipam, and Marko Leškovic still makes the Blaster’s defense looks strong enough to defend any attack. Blasters will have the attack unit which FC GOA will find difficult to contain. However, the man in charge Coach Ivan Vukomanovich and his game plans will be crucial in the outcome of the match.

HEAD TO HEAD

Overall, in the Indian super league, FC GOA oversee this fixture with 9 victories out of the 15 times we met. 9 games saw both teams sharing points and KERALA BLASTERS secured wins in the remaining 3 encounters.

KEY PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT.

Adrian luna, Sahal Abdul Samad, and Jorge Pereyra Díaz who are in the blistering form will be the players to watch out for. Ruivah Hormipam who has made his return to the squad after an injury will be the player to watch out for the Blaster’s defense.

Prabhsukhan Singh Gill, who is repeatedly demonstrating why he is the front runner for the Golden Glove will be the man to defeat the FC Goa attackers.
