From consecutive weekend games, it’s the weekday game for Kerala Blasters. And this time the opponents are none other than Chennaiyin FC. As both teams share similar ‘defend strong and attack relentlessly’ tactics on the field, this match will be a feast for the critics as well as the fans. Said that Chennaiyin and Kerala Blasters are also known for customizing their strategy slightly based on the opponents. This makes it interesting to see what Coach Ivan Vukomanovic has saved for our neighbors in Blue.

Kerala Blasters returning from a 3-0 win over reigning champions and Chennaiyin FC recovering from their defeat against Mumbai City FC with a 2-1 win against Odisha FC, both teams are high on confidence.

With Sahal Abdul Samad, Jorge Pereyra Diaz, and Alvaro Vazquez itching their name on the scoreboard in the last game, the attacking trio is in form. Vincy Baretto can add pace to the wing attacks.

Aidan luna remains to be a pivotal point in Kerala Blasters Midfield. Puitea and Jeakson Singh have also continued to make their presence felt in Midfield in the last game.

While Harmanjot Singh Khabra was repeatedly spotted handling the opponent wing attacks well. We saw Marko Leskovic emerging as the leader in defense in the absence of injured Enes Sipovic. Marko Leskovic along with debutant Ruivah Hormipam made their presence felt for the opponents when Kerala Blasters maintained a clean sheet against the informed Mumbai City FC.
