Kerala Blasters set to fight it out against SC East Bengal for the second win of the campaign on Sunday at Tilak Maidan. In the last match, our lads earned an outstanding victory against Odisha FC by 2-1 at Tilak Maidan. Alvaro Vazquez scored a brilliant goal for the team in the 62nd minute. The delightful news was K. Prashant made his 50th appearance for Kerala Blasters in the Indian super league, also scored his first goal for Blasters to secure the first win against Odisha FC. During the match, Albino Gomez got injured and was replaced with Prabhsukhan Gill who made his debut in the Indian super league for Kerala Blasters.

KEY PLAYERS TO WATCH OUT FOR

ADRIAN LUNA 

He is the one who constantly creates threats to the opposition and the one who controls the whole game. He put on two-assist against Odisha FC. At the onslaught of the game, his contributions were extraordinary. Based on his outstanding performance against Odisha FC he was chosen as the ‘Hero of the match’.

ALVARO VAZQUEZ

The Spanish striker marked his first goal for Kerala Blasters in the Indian super league. Hopefully, he is ready to score more goals in the upcoming matches.

K. PRASANTH

He made his 50th appearance for Kerala Blasters along with a winning goal. This goal will surely set the pace for him in the upcoming matches.

HEAD TO HEAD

Played two times and on both occasions matches ended in a stalemate. In the first match, Kone scored a self-goal and Jeakson scored a late goal for Kerala Blasters which ended 1-1 draw. In the second match, Scott Neville scored a header from very close range to the top right corner. Albino Gomez came up with a direct assist to Jordan Murray who scored that goal for Blasters and the match ended with a 1-1 draw at Tilak Maidan.
